Receiving his first guitar at the age of five, David Moorhead started taking guitar lessons soon after. His first music aspiration would be The Beatles since their music was always playing out of the speakers of his childhood home. Once he figured out the chords, David was able to write his first song at the age of nine called “Love makes the world go round.”
Since then music never left his side. At the age of 18, he joined Berklee College of Music and eventually graduated with two degrees: guitar performance and audio production/engineering.
He moved to the west coast in 2002 where he was given many opportunities to work with amazing musicians in the Los Angeles music scene. In 2004, he joined the Hey Now Records and still continues to work with the music company, releasing singles and creating music the way he likes it to be made. Currently, he is also teaching music to adults and kids.
